Nearly 27% of Athens-Clarke County residents live below the poverty line, and that’s where Downtown Ministries steps in. What began in 2003 as a small volunteer-led youth football team has blossomed into an extraordinary organization with a heart for the people of Athens. Today, Downtown Ministries runs a K-5 Christian school, offers a robust sports program, and provides a community kitchen, all while engaging over 400 volunteers. Their work is transforming lives, and we are honored to support them in expanding their reach and impact.

We partnered with Downtown Ministries to create a mobile application that helps them track and manage donor relationships more effectively. By ensuring that all donor activities and information are accessible to the entire team, we help foster stronger, long-lasting connections and increase donor retention. We also integrated Salesforce® with their payment/donation system, making it easier to monitor contributions and automatically send yearly tax records to donors. These improvements streamline processes, allowing Downtown Ministries to focus more on their mission and expand their impact in the Athens community.
